Patricia Hill
CEO
Patricia Hill has been CEO of Bay State since 2004. She is the wife of the late Robert Hill Jr., Bay State's principal and owner from 1992 through 2005. Ms. Hill has been a key employee of Bay State since 1992. She has been instrumental in the company's growth, building it from an average revenue of less than $100,000 to an average revenue of $20 million. She is responsible for the planning and strategic direction of the company. Under Ms. Hill's leadership, the company was recognized by Inc. 500/5000 as one of America's fastest growing companies and by Black Enterprise as one of America's top 100 small black enterprises.
In 2011, Ms. Hill appeared on Executive Leading Radio to discuss her entrepreneurial experience. Always seeking to perfect her vision and leadership, Ms. Hill was selected to participate in the Tuck School of Business' Building a High Performing Minority Business program at Dartmouth College. In addition to her recent recognitions, she was selected to be a member of the esteemed Leadership Maryland Class of 2011. As a member of the DC SmartCEO 100, Ms. Hill received the 2011 Women Business Achievement Award from SmartCEO (Brava).
Hill received her B.S. in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her CPA in 1993 and is an ISO Certified Lead Auditor, as well as a Certified Facility Clearance Officer. Ms. Hill maintains and continues her educational training in various technical and operational classes. In addition to ongoing education in the methodological fields, she constantly searches for opportunities to build upon her leadership abilities.
Andrew Acton
Vice President
Andrew Acton, Vice President, joined Bay State in 1999. Mr. Acton is responsible for service-offering development and delivery support. He brings a strong focus and expertise on driving business value for customers in the areas of IT infrastructure, information assurance and enterprise lifecycle management. Prior to joining Bay State, Mr. Acton was the IS Director for Waste Management, Inc., a Fortune 500 integrated environmental solutions company. Mr. Acton received his B.S. in economics from the University of Maryland.
Myriam Harvey
Director, Business Development/Channel Sales
Myriam Harvey, Director of the Solutions/Training Division and Channel Sales joined Bay State in August, 2009. Ms. Harvey is responsible for leading and assisting all new customer-related activities to grow revenue. She works to maintain executive relationships within IBM, while creating solutions and articulating value propositions within hundreds of pre-sales and post-sales engagements with integrated and aligned Fortune 500 customers.
Ms. Harvey has a broad background in the private and public sectors as an IT executive and channels sales management professional in creatively applying IT to solve complex business challenges. She has a proven track record of success driving strategic initiatives with Tier 1 partners, such as IBM, EDS and Oracle, as well as key customer accounts. Most recently, Ms. Harvey led business development with the IBM Rational team to progress and close new business through a variety of marketing and sales enablement programs, strategic account development and channel management.
Ms. Harvey attended Valley Forge Christian College, Washington Business School and Florida Atlantic University.
